If you plan to visit Springfield, you’ll find a lot of attractions and activities suited for all ages. Voted America's Best Aquarium and New Attraction, the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium features a 1.5-million-gallon aquarium with 35,000 live fish, mammals, reptiles and birds and a wildlife museum. The 350,000-square foot museum and aquarium features more than 1.5 miles of trails and exhibits.

If you’re feeling adventurous, check out the beautiful Fantastic Caverns, considered a rare earth treasure. There are only four caverns like this in the entire world, and only one in North America. Here, you’ll discover beautiful, natural wonders like giant columns stretching from floor to ceiling, cave pearls hidden in crystal-clear water. And best of all, you’ll tour the caves in the comfort of a Jeep-drawn tram.

For family fun, the Discovery Center of Springfield features hands-on science exhibits, including interactive STEM exhibits, events and programs. Discover topics like biology, space, engineering and physic.

If you’re into history, there’s some popular options in Springfield. The History Museum on the Square is located on historic Route 66. Six galleries highlight significant events in Springfield. Browse a collection of photographs, artifacts and stories, take a ride in the Trolley Time Machine and test your skills at a recreation of the first Wild West Shootout. If you love classic cars, check out the Route 66 Car Museum featuring well-preserved vehicles including cars from famous films and rare models along with historical displays.

Springfield also has some fun free attractions like the Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park which is also home to the beautiful Springfield Botanical Gardens, featuring dozens of themed gardens like the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden, all free to explore. As you wander through the park, check out the Gray-Campbell Farmstead, Springfield's oldest surviving cabin, providing a glimpse into pioneer life. Nature lovers will enjoy the Springfield Conservation Nature Center, with its free indoor exhibits and miles of hiking trails showcasing Ozarks ecosystems. Anyone who wishes to bid on any piece of equipment must register online and be approved for bidding. In order to register and receive a bidder number, you must provide the following: Company Name, Buyer's Name, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A $5,000 deposit is required to participate in each T&M auction. Buyer must submit a $5,000 Deposit in the form of a Wire Transfer or Credit Card in order to register to bid for each auction.
In addition, a bidder must indicate how he or she will pay for any purchases made. No settlements will be completed from the sale location. Payment in full must be made within 24 hours of the conclusion of the auction in the form of a Wire Transfer, Cashier's Check or a Company / Personal Check accompanied by a bank letter of guarantee, with terms acceptable to T&M. This letter of guarantee must include the following: “(Buyer's bank) will guarantee or honor Buyer's check up to a specified amount for purchases made at this auction." All purchases are subject to verification with Buyer's bank or financial institution. Credit Cards are only accepted for the $5,000 deposit and cannot be used to pay the full purchase price. Buyer will not be granted possession of any equipment until full settlement is received.
